Blow Dry Stylist

The Blow Dry Stylist Program provides the perfect opportunity for students to learn niche and speciality hair styling. It offers courses that focus on aspects of Cosmetology without the in-depth look at other facets such as nails and esthetics in the beauty industry. Moreover, this particular program offers insights to unique styles and fresh looks. As a result, students are allotted more time to perfect their craft whether it’s a bun, up-do, or roller-set.

Additionally, students leave this program with a professional grade understanding of how to craft wonderfully executed looks and problem solve to help produce quality results. For instance, learning how to perfect the beach wave or simply giving a bride the perfect volumized curl as she glides down the aisle.

About Our Program

In short, Aveda produces career-ready students by the time of graduation. To do so, we believe in a hands on approach to instruction. With that in mind, students will learn to perform hair services such as shampooing and styling. Subsequently, students will generate a rich knowledge in Aveda products and superb customer service techniques. Moreover, this program prepares students to advise clients on how to care for their hair at home. This means that not only will you know what product is the best recommendation for clients but also how to market/sell.

Lastly but certainly not least, by graduation, students of this program have the potential to manage a salon floor in addition to other career opportunities. Blow Dry Stylists, in a salon setting, will also keep records of products and services provided to clients, shampoo, conditioner, and hair treatment used– some also clean and style wigs and hairpieces.
